The Alchemy plancha grill sets you up to be able to make the best smash burgers ever. The plancha gets rip roaring hot from the centre fire and 304 stainless steel plates distribute the heat evenly to cook that smash burger perfectly - crispy edges and juicy interior and all. Cook up your bacon however you like it and make sure to add a piece of American cheese to each smash burger patty, because there always needs to be cheese on a burger. Make a quick homemade special sauce and your recipe is complete.

This recipe makes one double bacon cheeseburger, one single bacon cheeseburger and a regular cheeseburger, but you can build your burgers however you like. For the double bacon cheese burger, stack two cheeseburger patties on top of each other on a bottom bun, add three slices of bacon, special sauce then close the bun. For the single, add one cheeseburger patty to the bottom bun, then three slices of bacon, special sauce and close the top. The regular cheeseburger just got special sauce on a bun.
